Imperial life science Ltd is looking for a field application scientist (NGS portfolio) for west region. This person will be responsible for the application and scientific support across the region
  • Position Description :
  • Problem solving skills to analyze, and solve complex technical cases.
  • Ability to work with highly skilled group of scientists from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent customer service skills, enthusiastic attitude, and solid work ethics.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • FAS will provide complete scientific and application support to customers and build customer relationships while providing prompt, timely, relevant professional and accurate advisory and support service to customers.
  • It will include installation of the instruments, training of the team at client site, trouble shoot experiments, pre and post sales support.
  • Educating customers and team product and applications updates.
  • Coordination with the costumers for the effective instruments and consumables forecast.
  • Cover target audience for effective product promotion and target achievement.
  • Maintain healthy relationship with KOLs .
  • Key account management and reporting actives on CRM.
  • Business and marketing intelligence with respect to new projects, competitors activities and prospective customers .
  • This position will include around 40% travel.
  • Position Requirements :
  • Minimum of Master Degree in life science or related area, PhD Degree (preferred).
  • Individual with minimum 4-5 years lab experience in molecular biology, genomics or genetics.
  • Preferred hands on experience with NGS, Microarray workflows.
  • Personal Requirements :

Imperial life science Ltd is looking for a Technical Sales Specialist/ Manager for west region. This is a techno commercial sales position, you will be responsible for the product sales and promotion of molecular biology and genomics portfolio.
  • Position Description :
  • Actively work with customers from Academia, laboratories, hospitals, molecular diagnostic labs, forensic labs, agriculture institutes, veterinary customers, Pharma/Biopharma customers etc.
  • Accountable for the business planning, forecasting and achievement of objectives and revenue forecasts.
  • Meet & exceed sales targets and develop tactical plans to maximize business/revenues.
  • Drive and initiate development of new business opportunities and references. Increase number of strategic partnerships.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders and stakeholders.
  • Expand, Maintain and develop relationships with key customers and references.
  • Execute an outbound marketing plan to deliver on the genomics and molecular biology division sales and revenue goals.
  • Provide accurate forecasts as required and maintain data management diligence within internal operating guidelines.
  • Achieve sales target for the assigned territory.
  • Position Requirements :
  • Excellent communication skills at all business levels and ability to work with highly skilled group of scientists from diverse backgrounds.
  • Problem solving, solution based and strategic approach for territory management and business growth.
  • Time Management and planning skills essential to be successful.
  • Excellent customer oriented skills, enthusiastic attitude, and solid work ethics.
  • Personal Requirements :
  • Minimum of Master in Life Science or any related branch.
  • Experience of at-least 5-7 years with the proven successful sales track record predominantly in the Life Science domain.
  • Good market knowledge in focus area (sales territory, instrumentation business, Life Science market, Diagnostics market, or specialist area).
  • Managing of sales team and territory through sales activities, focused planning and timely execution.
  • Proven experience in handling and managing instruments sales like NGS, Microarray, Realtime and automation solutions will be preferred.
  • Willingness to extensive travel more than 70% is essential.
